Vineland, NJ - On June 14, 2026, members of the Vineland Police Department responded to the 2100 block of E. Oak Rd. for noise complaints originating from a large, un-permitted house party.

When police arrived, they were met with multiple parking issues and several hundred individuals at the residence of 2135 E. Oak Rd. Multiple officers were dispatched to the location to the number of people who were at the house party.

One arrest was made at the scene for Aggravated Assault on Police and Resisting Arrest after an individual allegedly struck and bit one of the officers on scene attempting to assist the subject getting medical treatment by Vineland EMS.

The individual was identified as 40-year-old Amy R. Smith of Phillipsburg, NJ. Smith was transported to Inspira Medical Center in Vineland and was later transported to Cumberland County Jail pending a court hearing.

The homeowner, Markedia M. Davis was issued multiple summonses for City of Vineland Ordinance violations. As a result of the traffic violations in the area, four vehicles were towed and numerous motor vehicle violations were issued to owners of said vehicles.
