The Vineland Planning Board has postponed the special meeting on the controversial data center expansion scheduled for Thursday, March 26th. The meeting is now scheduled for May 28th.
The Vineland Planning Board was scheduled to discuss the second phase of the DataOne AI Data Center Project, which includes nearly a million square feet including a power generation building, chiller building, administration building, natural gas tank, and more.
Data Center Protest (3/21/26)
The special meeting was originally set for less than a week after an anti-data center rally at Giampietro Park in Vineland that drew more than 100 attendees.
The rally was organized by Sustain SJ, congressional candidate Bayly Winder, and other local activists who have been outspoken in opposition to the project. Throughout the event, attendees held signs, listened to speakers, and voiced frustration over the development as debate surrounding the data center continues to grow.
