Bridgeton, N.J. - The Bridgeton Police Department has arrested Andrea Dukes, a 48-year-old Vineland woman who broke into a car.

Around 12:30 a.m., Bridgeton police responded to the 500 block of Chestnut Avenue for a report of a burglary. When police arrived, they found the victim standing next to their vehicle while the suspect was inside the vehicle.


Andrea Dukes was arrested but refused to be fingerprinted, adding an additional charge. Dukes is being charged with burglary, theft, criminal attempt, and failure to allow fingerprinting.


Andrea Dukes is being held in the Cumberland County Jail.
