The Vineland, NJ, City Council unanimously approved a $6,000,000 purchase of 108 acres from Inspira Health, planned to be developed into a large youth sports complex. The City of Vineland is splitting the purchase with the Cumberland County Improvement Authority, with The City of Vineland spending $3,000,000 + closing costs.

The proposed site sits adjacent to 65 acres of land already owned by the Vineland Development Corporation, with companies conducting studies to confirm feasibility.

Local officials have cited economic development, tourism, job creation, and more as reasons for the proposed complex. At this time, zero renderings have been submitted but planning and research being conducted.
