Dozens of residents & community organizers gatherewd at Giampietro Park in Vineland on Saturday, March 21, to protest the proiposed data center development, raising concerns about its impact on the city and the transparency throughout the process.


The rally was organized by Sustain SJ, congressional candidate Bayly Winder, and other local activists who have been outspoken in opposition to the project. Throughout the event, attendees held signs, listened to speakers, and voiced frustration over the development as debate surrounding the data center continues to grow.

Speakers at the rally highlighted a range of concerns tied to the project, while residents in attendance called for more transparency and stronger public awareness as plans move forward.


The rally came less than a week before a scheduled special meeting of the Vineland Planning Board, where officials are expected to discuss “Phase 2” of the Vineland Data Center project. The board is also set to hear public comment on the proposal, with dozens of residents expected to attend.
