Giordano’s Recycling in Vineland erupted in flames overnight, leading to road closures, an air quality advisory, and disgruntled residents.

The flames first started on Saturday night, and burned throughout the night and into this morning. The blaze has caused Landis Avenue to close, and people were asked to avoid the area. Those nearby are told to stay indoors and keep windows/doors closed due to the heavy smoke.

Giordano’s Recycling has quite a history with fires, with huge fires in 2019, 2012, and 1997 notably. People have been injured in those fires. There have also been reports of smaller blazes.
