Bridgeton, N.J. - A video circulating on social media shows an emotional confrontation between a woman and immigration enforcement outside the Cumberland County Courthouse in Bridgeton.

In the video uploaded to social media, it shows what appears to be a masked immigration enforcement agent (ICE) smashing out a car window and arresting an individual. These videos have been viewed over a million times in 36 hours.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill signed three controversial immigration bills into law Wednesday, including a law that prevent ICE agents from wearing masks. ICE said in a statement they will not follow this law.


The social media user, Ashleigh Acevedo, has content on her profile documenting ICE agents across the Bridgeton, NJ, area. She has posted videos questioning officers and photographing suspected enforcement vehicles.
