Vineland, N.J. - The Cumberland County Department of Health is investigating noise complaints from residents that allegedly originate from the controversial AI Data Center.
On Thursday, the Cumberland County Department of Health released a statement that they are aware of an ongoing “humming” noise being heard in Vineland near the AI Data Center. The Department of Health did not confirm the noise was from the Data Center.

While the Department of Health is not involved in planning, zoning, or approving construction, they are responsible for enforcing the New Jersey Noise Control Code, on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
It’s important to reiterate that The Cumberland County Department of Health does not have the legal authority to shut down a facility, and has not confirmed a violation at this time.
